Hot water problem with combi boiler - any ideas?
I don't know if your boiler has an aluminium heat exchanger, or a stainless steel one which stands up better to acid cleaners. Some people thing a magnet/conditioner on the incoming pipe prevents scaling, I don't believe it. A water softener does prevent limescale but costs some hundreds of pounds.
